Long Distance Passenger Coaches for Lease and Sale
The range of vehicles at HEROS Helvetic Rolling Stock GmbH for long-distance transportation for sale and lease includes RIC passenger coaches which are manufactured and approved in accordance with RIC, the international agreement ‘regolamento internazionale (per lo scambio) delle carrozze’. These RIC passenger coaches also offer the advantage of being able to be used in international passenger transportation across national boundaries.
Long-distance coaches are designed for travelling distances greater than 300 km, offering an extra level of comfort for the trip. With a view to trip times, these railway vehicles are generally authorised for speeds of up to 160 km/h or 200 km/h.
The long-distance coaches available for leasing or sale are sitting coaches for first and second class passengers. In addition, this category also includes vehicles such as couchette coaches, bistro cars and even restaurant cars, which are designed to round off the offer for the travellers and satisfy special needs. Both classic sleeping coaches as well as double-decker sleeping coaches are included here.
